Join us on the club's first-ever trip to Deer Valley.  Known for its pristine groomers, exceptional service, and skier-only policy.  The resort offers a diverse range of terrain, from beginner-friendly slopes to challenging expert runs, all meticulously maintained.

Expanded Terrain — Deer Valley East:  Deer Valley’s Expanded Terrain is a long-awaited evolution that will add an additional 3,700 acres of skiable terrain, more than doubling the size of and making Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in North America.

Our trip package includes 7 nights (Sat-Sat) in the Zermatt Resort & Spa (hotel rooms) with daily hot breakfast buffet, round-trip air from Washington to Salt Lake City (details below), ground transfers, and in/out baggage handling.  The trip includes transportation for an optional day of skiing at Sundance (details below).

Nestled in the majestic mountains of Midway, Utah, Zermatt Resort & Spa is the perfect location for our getaway.  Zermatt offers unique charm with its Swiss-inspired architecture, where we can indulge in world-class spa treatments and enjoy exquisite dining options including Z's Restaurant, the Lobby Lounge, and The Bakery.

The resort's heated pools and hot tubs include an indoor/outdoor swim-through pool.  The ceiling of the indoor pool features a sky mosaic that changes colors throughout the evening, adding a warm ambiance, and the large indoor hot tub features a beautiful two-story waterfall.  Or get cozy in the outdoor hot tub watching the stars or the snow fall.

From the granite counter-tops in the bathrooms to the down comforters on the beds, every detail of our Q/Q rooms promotes an atmosphere of luxury, elegance and refinement.  Amenities include mini-fridges, microwaves, and a comfortable desk or work station offering both wireless and hard-wired Internet access.  Rooms with one King bed may be available, upon request and subject to availability.

Single Rooms:  Listed price is for double occupancy; add $850 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself.

Daily Mountain Transfers:  The club is chartering a bus to shuttle us for five days (every day except our Sundance day – see below) from Zermatt to the Jordanelle Express Gondola in Deer Valley's new East Base.  We'll have two morning departures and two afternoon returns for the 20-minute drive, supplemented by the resort's own 14-passenger van.

Sundance Ski Day Our trip package includes a day trip to Sundance Mountain Resort With its rustic simplicity, Sundance is graced by 5000 acres of protected wilderness at the base of 12,000 ft Mt. Timpanogos:  In 1969, Robert Redford bought the land now known as Sundance Resort and envisioned the careful growth of a community committed to the balance of art, nature and community. Today, Sundance Resort offers an atmosphere steeped in cultural heritage.  Click for a peek at the trail map and mountain statistics.

The round-trip bus ride (about a half hour away) is included in the trip package, but the Sundance lift ticket is an optional add-on (estimated $125 extra cost, to be confirmed), recognizing that some participants – particularly those with an Ikon Pass might prefer to just ski every day at Deer Valley.

Ikon Pass Benefits:  If you're planning to ski at more than one "Ikon" resort this winter, an Ikon Pass may be a better value than the available group lift tickets (see below); it may depend when you buy your pass as prices will increase as winter gets closer.

  • A Full Ikon Pass gives you 7 days at Deer Valley.
  • An Ikon Base Pass has no benefits at Deer Valley.

Ikon Passes must be individually purchased (not through the club).  You may purchase Ikon Passes directly from Ikon, but we suggest that you visit our Epic & Ikon Pass page to explore the promotional offers that may be available from our tour operators.

If you'll be using an Ikon Pass, we must provide your pass number to the resort so that it counts towards our group lift ticket minimum purchase requirements.  Please enter your Ikon Pass number into your membership profile before registering for the trip, or provide it to the trip leader if you purchase (or renew) your pass subsequent to signing up.

Ikon Lift Reservations:  Skiers using an Ikon Pass will be required to make reservations for their ski days by logging into their Ikon Pass account at ikonpass.com.  You should make your reservations as soon as you sign up for the trip as daily space may be limited and could sell out.

Group Lift Tickets:   Group lift tickets are available as an extra-cost option for skiers without an Ikon Pass:
