Heavenly's Ridge Run

Explore world famous terrain across two states, from the most scenic trail in skiing on Ridge Run to the steeps in Mott and Killebrew Canyons, Heavenly Mountain Resort is the place to enjoy all of skiing’s finest moments with friends and family alike.

Our trip package includes 7 nights (Sat-Sat) at the Margritaville Resort (hotel suites) in South Lake Tahoe with daily breakfast buffet round-trip air from Washington to Reno (details below), and ground transfers.  The trip package also includes day trips to both Northstar and Kirkwood. 

Margaritaville Resort

Nestled on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe and surrounded by the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains, the all-suite Margaritaville Resort is just steps from the lake and a short walk to the Heavenly gondola.

QQ Suite

The bedrooms in our spacious suites have two Queen beds and feature plush bedding with crisp white linens, plus a flat-screen TV and a work desk, perfect for a little R&R or catching up on work.  The separate living room invites you to kick back and relax with a second TV, a cozy couch and lounge chair, and a dining table with seating for four. There’s also a wet bar with a coffee maker and mini-fridge, ideal for mixing up your favorite drinks. In the bathroom, you’ll find a large vanity, an oversized shower, and our signature Margaritaville amenities to refresh and recharge after a day of Tahoe adventures.  Suites with one King bed may be available, upon request and subject to availability.

Single Rooms:   Listed price is for double occupancy; add $875 for the Single Supplement if you want a room to yourself.

Lift Tickets:  Lift tickets are not included in the trip package, as Vail Resorts is no longer offering competitively priced group lift tickets.  Epic Passes, which must be individually purchased (not through the club), provide the best value.

Epic Passes:  Participants are encouraged to purchase an Epic Pass product of some type early-on.  The following options would cover your skiing for the trip, not only at Heavenly but also at Northstar and Kirkwood resorts.

Prices shown are as of March 2025, but will increase periodically, and will be unavailable after early December:

• Military Epic Pass – Active/Retired ($185); Veteran ($601)
  
• Epic Day Pass (the non-holiday-rate for a "32 resort" pass) – ($403 for 5 days; $471 for 6 days)
• Epic Local Pass ($783) – unlimited #days at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood (Peak Dates excluded)
• Tahoe Local Pass ($665) – unlimited #days at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood (Peak Dates excluded)

Day Trips:  The trip package includes day trips to both Northstar and Kirkwood.  Each resort is about an hour's ride away.  We'll have a dedicated, chartered bus for these trips.  Any of the Epic Pass products listed above are honored at both resorts.

Save $535 with a package without air tickets.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip will be "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning August 1.

Payment Schedule:

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your initial deposit:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.

If you prefer to pay by check, make it payable to the Pentagon Ski Club and mail it to our treasurer:  Tom Gallagher, 8203 Lazy Point Lane, Lorton, VA 22079.  Indicate which trip, and what skier(s), it is for.  Or give it to the trip leader (or to Tom) at a club meeting.
