Trip Description: Zermatt


7 nights in 3-Star+ Hotel Bristol Zermatt with daily breakfast & 5 dinners. RT nonstop on United from Dulles to Geneva. RT train to Zermatt. One night (Sat, Feb 5) in Geneva's Hotel Edelweiss with buffet breakfast. Optional post-trip extension to French Riviera ($780) returns Feb 10 (see Trip Details). Located in the center of Zermatt, the Bristol is a longstanding family-run hotel near the lifts and the train station. Amenities include a restaurant/ bar/lounge, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, massage room, free WiFi, and free use of a computer with Internet. Add $390 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself in Zermatt (& Geneva).

We'll all depart Zermatt for Geneva after breakfast on Saturday, Jun 5. The group going to the French Riviera will go directly to the airport for their flights to Nice. The Zermatt-only group will spend the rest of the day (and evening) in Geneva, staying at the Edelweiss - a classic Swiss chalet-style hotel located steps from Lake Geneva in the city center, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Sunday morning they'll be bussed to the airport for their noon departure for Dulles.
