NASTAR Handicap Chart

NASTAR does a statistical analysis at the end of each season to make sure the handicap chart is correctly representing the current NASTAR population. The 2008-2009 charts included a number of changes based on statistics from the 2007-08 season. In the male chart only the 1-4 and 5-6 year-old categories changed. About half of the female categories changed: 1-12, 17-39, 55-69, and 75-84. No additional changes were made for the 2009-2010, 2010-2011, or 2011-2012 racing seasons.
