April 12, 2011—Council Election Results
At our April 12 meeting we held the annual election of members to the club's governing body, the Council. Our bylaws allow the Council to have from nine to twelve members, and the current Council had decided most recently to continue operating at the level of ten members. Incumbent members Dave Olsen, Steve Peirce and Steve Thompson were reelected, by acclamation, to new three-year terms. Specific positions within the Council—president, treasurer, etc—were reaffirmed (without change) by the Council itself at our summer business meeting. At that meeting we also selected Maggie Fitzgerald to fill out Anne Willemann's position on the Council for this year.
