Our trips usually include 30-50 people with a wide variety of interests and skiing abilities. Trips are generally mixed fairly evenly between couples and singles. The skiing level is also mixed, from beginner to expert, with most skiers falling in the intermediate to advanced intermediate category. A few non-skiers can also be found on our trips, particularly on our European or southern hemisphere trips where sightseeing opportunities sometimes compete with the skiing.

Most participants choose to vacation with the PSC because they want to share activities. Each trip normally includes a pre-trip party hosted by the trip leader, an opening party at the lodge or a local restaurant, lunch slope side each day, and meeting points on the slopes for people who want to ski together. This means that there are lots of opportunities to socialize and ski with others who ski at your level. Of course, you are free to share in activities or not. One reason members give for going on PSC trips is the friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Because we are a group, we can bargain with travel agents and lodging companies. We try to pass along savings to our members. Because we focus on destination resorts, our trips are not the cheapest, but we believe they offer the best value for the money to top-quality destinations. We are a non-profit organization and any profit we garner is invested back into the club.
